King Akbar also called Akbar the Great was the 3rd Mughal Emperor. He is known as the greatest ruler of the Mughal Dynasty.
To become a ruler in the Mughal Empire, you typically had to be a member of the ruling family, known as the Mughal dynasty. Succession was often based on primogeniture, where the eldest son inherited the throne. Additionally, political alliances and military conquests could also play a role in establishing oneself as a ruler.

I believe it was King Ashoka, because I am unfamiliar with Mughal-e-Azam I cannot be positive but I am aware that shortly after the death of King Ashoka the Mauryan Empire of Ancient India faced it's decline.
