The members of Switchfoot prefer it when people don't talk about their hair. The lead singer Jon Foreman even made a statement on their old boards asking people to please stop talking about their hair. Some fangirls had been obsessing over the Foreman brothers hair.

Please stop talking about the hair thing. I mean no offence, I just find that the stuff that grows out the top of my head is not worth much thought. What has everyone been reading/ thinking/dreaming about? What new band or idea is raising the hair on the back of your neck? These conversations tend to be a bit more eternal somehow... The music is what brings us all together here and these songs are life and death to me. Hair, quite honestly, is not.
