At least officially , no United States President has ever been (Out and open) as a homosexual or Gay man. There was a Governor of New Jersey- Mcgreavey- who was a gay man and eventually abdicated- under fire! He was supposed to be very religious and at one time considered becoming a Priest- oh boy, all we need.

There have been no US presidents who have been openly gay. But there is debate whether James Buchanan was gay.
The only one that never married as James Buchanan, so some people conclude that he was gay. However, there is no hard evidence that he was. He was engaged to be married as a young man but she broke it off for an unknown reason and then died soon after.

I'm calling B.S. on the answer "none". My uncle, President James Buchanan, the president right before Lincoln, was gay. I believe that his Secretary of State was his partner. Buchanan is the only U.S. president who never married nor had children.

James Buchanan never married and lived with an Alabama Senator named William King for 15 years. He was either gay or asexual.
