Well the aug should be more accurate but not by much. It comes down to which you think looks better. I have heard great things about the G36

During which era? The Irish military currently uses the Steyr AUG as their standard service rifle.

I think you mean Savage. Both Savage and Steyr make good rifles. There is no one best. Sorry.
