In an overunder shotgun do you use the same choke for both barrels?
I usually use 1/4 on the bottom barrel (fires first) and 1/2 on the top barrel. This is because when the bird is fleeing you, the first barrel fires a bigger swarm. If i miss, the top barrel fires a more compact swarm for longer range.

No. The Stoeger 3000 has no barrel selector and always fires bottom barrel first.

The Dictionary says: "to place above or upon something else, or one upon another." As in the case of the Browning shotgun, the Superposed model ws the first sucessful Over/Under shotgun ever made. Browning used the dictionary description to name the model "Superposed" because one barrel is apon another.
