∙ 13y agoThe Egyptians though that pharaoh was a god on earth, the son of the sun god Ra. According to Egyptian legend, the first Pharaohs became some of the more famous gods. They never questioned the pharaoh, and would usually shield their eyes when he was near, so their unpure eyes would not see the god on earth.
