Above the tree line in the Rocky Mountains.
Often it is, but tundra can also be found on high mountains above the tree line.
Tundra is located in the far north, above the tree line.

not much. the Appalachian mountains are old eroded mountains with not much left to them but the rockies have tall sharp jagged peaks that rise above the tree line some above 14,000 ft above sea level
No, a tundra is a biome or ecosystem. It is generally defined by low temperatures and a short growing season which hinders tree growth. Most tall mountains have a "tree line" which separates the alpine forest biome below it from the alpine tundra biome above it; the mountain is the landform. Plains are the characteristic landforms of Arctic tundra, just as mountains are the landforms of the alpine tundras.
The Appalachain mountains are more like hills then mountains and the rockies are much taller mountains with sharp jagged peaks rising above the tree line
The elevation of the tree line varies. The tree line is the point on a particular mountain above which no trees grow. Mt. Washington in New Hampshire is shorter than a number of mountains in North Carolina. Mt. Washington has a tree line. The taller mountains in North Carolina do not.
A line of mountains is called a range.
There are 3 types of Tundra: Arctic, Antarctic and Alpine. Arctic Tundra is found very high in the northern hemisphere, just above the Taiga belt, in the northern parts of countries cuch as Canada, and Russia. Antarctic Tundra is found on Antarctica as well as on some of its subantarctic islands. Alpine Tundra is found on many high mountains above the tree line, all over the world.
Forests can be found from sea level to the tree line of high mountains.
Carlsbad caverns is located and can be found in New Mexico along the border line.
