Polar bears live in the Arctic, penguins live in the Antarctic, both of which are polar regions and have no significant plant life.
Tundra
The tundra biome is actually too cold for humans to live there. Many animals and plants such as deer, bear, foxes, lemmings, snowshoe rabbits, lichens and mosses have adapted to this cold environment and live there. It is the coldest biome in the world.
Apple , pear, mango, banana, orange, mandarine, avacado, strawberries, pineapple, onions, peach, cherries, potato, carrot, peas, lokets, garlic, spinach, pawpaw, lettuce, cucumber, gerkin, pickles, money, pomigranit tress are all there so go and get your elephant and go pick them for me
If we look back at the basics, all that it takes for succesion to occur is a pioneer species. In the tundra, the most common pioneer species is arguably mosses and lichens. Other plants will grow off of the pioneer species.
The tundra plants consist mostly of mosses (e.g. Arctic Moss and Caribou Moss), grasses, lichens, sedges, and shrubs. About 400 types of flowers bloom in the growing season, such as the Pasque Flower. Few trees grow in this biome, but low-growing trees such as birches and dwarf willows such as the Arctic Willow and Diamond-leaf willow will grow in this tundra region. Mostly moss grows in the tundra biome.
There are many animals that make there home in Taiga Biome. Animals that live there are foxes, wolves and bears.
There aren't many plants that grow in the taiga biome because the winters are so cold and the conditons are pretty harsh. But some of the plants that grow in these areas are lichens, mosses, and coniferous trees such as pine, white spruce, hemlock, and Douglas fur.
There are caribou, reindeer, birds, foxes, wolves, grizzly bears, polar bears, arctic hare, bison and much more! The owl, ptarmigan, geese and terns all migrate to the Arctic in the spring to nest. Herds of reindeer and caribou move south to migrate in the winter. There are also whales in the Arctic.
