Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler the Anime first premiered in Japan in October 2008. Since then Season 1 has been fully released, along with Season 2, 7 OVAs, and 2 Stage Musicals. There is at present no word of whether or not there will be a 3rd Season of the Anime, but fans are ever hopeful. So I would like to believe that the Anime is ongoing as well.

Well, according to the episode list on wikipedia, seasons one and two are a total of 78 episodes. Then, you have the 5 OVAs. Then season three is a total of 39 episodes. That brings the total to 122. I haven't seen the whole series, so it's possible one of the OVAs had a fake trailer at the end for the "next episode", kind of like the first season OVA of Black Butler and a bonus episode of Wedding Peach.
