The gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) tell the story oof Jesus and his disciples.. However, the Book of Acts (also written by Luke) tells the account of what the disciples did after th death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus, and also tells of Paul's journeys establishing the Church across the Mediterranean area.
Besides some mention in the four Gospels, the book called The Acts of the Apostles by Luke gives an accounting of the Apostles and some disciples of the Early Church Era.
There are a few books after the gospels that talk about what the disciples did after Jesus' death, but I would suggest Acts, in the New Testament.
Acts 1-12 in the Bible tells about the Disciples and their relationship with Jesus Christ.
The bible does not give their names, but tells us that there were two disciples on the way to Emmamus.

In the Last Supper Jesus tells his disciples that his time is coming to an end and that he will be betrayed by Judas. His disciples start to grieve but Jesus comforts them and tells them that he will always be with them, through the holy spirit.
