the brand=of diapers I==think can't hold the most liquid is huggies=
Pampers appear to be the best brand of diapers that hold the most liquid. so therefore huggies do not hold more liquid than pampers
how much liquid it can hold
Actually none of those, luvs hold the most and are less expensive.
I have found that Pampers brand is the least likely to leak. They hold a lot of liquid and barely ever leak.
More to the point, which type of diaper absorbs more liquid? Baby diapers, including off brands follow a similar formula for their construction. So in general, off brand baby diapers all absorb similar quantities of liquid. However, I am not familiar with the overnight versions. As for adult diaper, it depends. Among people who wear diapers long term, most would classify off the shelf brands from as being a poor quality product, even if they are the mainstream product. So called disposable underwear is the most common sold, but they do not hold anymore than any other off the shelf brand. The most popular brands that are known to hold a liter or more of liquid are Abina's X-Plus, Molicare, and Secure X-Plus.
Its the Super-Absorbant Polymer in disposable diapers that makes them hold more than cloth. The polymer can absorb many times its weight in liquid and traps the liquid in its structure. Once the liquid is absorbed by the polymer, it can not be pressed out, resulting in a diaper that has less leakage under pressure.
Luvs diapers are kind of thin but they really do hold a lot. I love them because I can go all night without changing diapers.
