This is a matter of debate, as there are plenty of horses well suited for cross-country. However, your best picks are: arabians, thoroughbreds and warmbloods. These particular breeds are particularly noted for their endurance.
Hotbloods tend to do better in cross country.
Personally, I prefer Irish Sports horses, Thoroughbreds, Anglo Arabs, Arabs and the fairly new breed British Appaloosas.

yess! any horse breed can do cross country or jumping.... BUT a lipizzaner stallions is really fast but cant really handle the jumps....but with practice any horse can do amazing!
