Belfast is serviced by 2 airports. Belfast International airport is a 40 minute bus Journey away from the city centre and Belfast City airport is a 20 minute bus journey away. Buses are frequent and reasonably inexpensive. Taxi's are also readily available from each airport
If you took a bus from Dublin to London you would never get there because you would probably die. You see, Ireland is its own land mass and you can't drive to the United Kingdom. I would suggest you take a geography class prior to traveling.
Go to Glendalough in the Wicklow mountains, which is not much more than an hour from Dublin in good traffic. It is very beautiful and historic and the journey is nice too. There are lots of bus tours from Dublin to Glendalough and other parts of Wicklow.

It depends on where in Dublin 8 you are. It is a wide area. Taking a place like Inchicore, you could get the 79 to Ballyfermot and then the 76 to Liffey Valley. Another option could be to take the 40 bus from Emmet Road to Liffey Valley. If you go to the city centre from wherever you are in Dublin 8, there are lots of buses that go towards Liffey Valley like the 25(a/b/x), 66(a/b/x) and 67(x). These various buses all have different timetables so you would need to check the Dublin Bus website to find what might suit you best.
