I'm not quite sure what you mean by this, but I might be able to help. If you mean which part of the cell produces energy , then it is the mitochondria. Inside the membrane of the mitochondria, something takes place where ATP molecules are made. ATP molecules are the main energy source...I don't know if that helped any...

The conversion of biological material in to energy available to the body, is accounted for by the digestive system.

The digestive system in terms consists of several other systems, and as a result of an amazing an complex colaboration of all these systems (made out a quantity of different cells) result in "food", becoming viable energy, ready for use in the body.
