Red blood cells perform the most important blood duty. A single drop of blood contains millions of red blood cells which are constantly traveling through your body delivering oxygen and removing waste. If they weren't, your body would slowly die.
Oxygen diffuses from the lungs into the blood stream where it is carried by attaching to hemoglobin. It then diffuses out of the blood into the cells.
Oxygen binds to the hemoglobin within the red blood cells.
The 'red blood cells' present in the blood.
Erythrocytes, aka red blood cells. These cells contain very high levels of the protein hemoglobin which binds oxygen and then transport oxygen throughout the body via the bloodstream.

Blood does. It carries oxygen from the lungs with which you breath fresh air in. Then blood goes to the heart and is sent to the whole body with oxygen! Oxygen support the cells', and the body's life!
red blood cells carry oxygen from the lungs through the pulmonary artery to the heart and then to the rest of the body.
Your cells need the oxygen to function. That's why it's called "cellular respiration."and you blood needs to be oxygenated so it can carry the O2 (oxygen) to other parts of the body.
After blood releases oxygen to the cells of the body the blood becomes deoxygenized. It then travels back to the heart to get more oxygen.
oxygen is needed
Oxygen
To all of the other cells of your body that need oxygen to live.

2 things:Cells need blood and oxygen to produce.
Oxygen is needed in our body so we can survive. The cells in our body need it and without oxygen, the cells will die and we will die. When people go in to outer space there is no oxygen so oxygen tanks are taken so the astronauts receive the oxygen they need
Oxygen is important because our cells need oxygen to survive. If they don't get oxygen then the cells will die the the human itself will die.

The cells in your body need oxygen to live. The oxygen you breathe into your lungs gets put into your blood. Your heart then pumps the blood carrying the oxygen to all the cells in your body.
oxygen is solely used by mitochondria in cells for energy, that is the only reason we need oxygen.
