Brutus is because he doesn't show any emotion when he found out that his wife, Portia, died. Someone who is stoic is unaffected by grief or pain, and that is why I believe that Brutus is a stoic character in the tragedy of Julius Caesar.
Gaius Julius Caesar wrote this in his book, 'Commentarii de Bello Gallico'.
In "Julius Caesar, Cassius believes he sent Titinus to his death and that Brutus' army has gone down in defeat. He commands his servant to kill him. In actuality, Titinus had met with Brutus's army and that army had not gone down to defeat. Therefore, his death was in vain.
The movie from 1953 is missing some scenes and parts from acts such as when Portia stabs herself in the thigh to prove to Brutus that she is strong enough to keep his secrets. Another scene that was changed is when Caesar was being killed. All the conspirators ended up cutting one another along with killing Caesar but in the movie only Caesar was stabed
