Violet, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red
The amount of energy in a light wave is proportionally related to its frequency: High frequency light has high energy; low frequency light has low energy. Thus gamma rays have the most energy, and radio waves have the least. Of visible light, violet has the most energy and red the least.
Approximate frequency ranges for the various colors:
Red 384 - 482
Orange 482 - 503
Yellow 503 - 520
Green 520 - 610
Blue 610 - 659
Violet 659- 769
Shortest wavelength means the highest frequency, meaning the photons have the highest energy. That is color violet. The violet light colors the skin brown. Red light with lower energy photons cannot do that.
To find the shortest wavelength, you would need to look for the highest frequency electromagnetic wave in the spectrum. You can use the formula: wavelength = speed of light / frequency to calculate the wavelength, with the highest frequency corresponding to the shortest wavelength.
Violet.
The visible light with the highest frequency and shortest wavelength is the last, bluest light that you can see at the blue end of the spectrum (rainbow).
For the same speed of a wave (I suppose you are referring to electromagnetic waves), the highest frequency corresponds to the shortest wavelength. For the same speed of a wave (I suppose you are referring to electromagnetic waves), the highest frequency corresponds to the shortest wavelength. For the same speed of a wave (I suppose you are referring to electromagnetic waves), the highest frequency corresponds to the shortest wavelength. For the same speed of a wave (I suppose you are referring to electromagnetic waves), the highest frequency corresponds to the shortest wavelength.
The longest visible wavelength of light appears red. "Longest wavelength" is equivalent to 'lowest frequency'.
Gamma rays are the waves with the shortest wavelength. The waves having highest frequency have the shortest wavelength. As gamma rays have the highest frequency starting from 10^19 and onwards so they have the shortest wavelength starting from 10^-11 and decreasing.
The part with the shortest wavelength has.
Gamma waves
x-ray
That would be the last color you can see on the violet end of the spectrum. The exact point at which it's no longer visible varies among individuals and their eyes.
Shortest wavelength corresponds to highest frequency.Within the AM broadcast band, that's 1700 KHz.Wavelength = speed/frequency = 176.35 meters(rounded)
