To display the contents of a folder in the contents pane, open the file explorer or file management application on your computer. Navigate to the desired folder by clicking on it or using the address bar. The contents of the selected folder will then be displayed in the contents pane, showing all files and subfolders within that directory. You can also use shortcuts like double-clicking the folder to quickly view its contents.
Double clicking on a folder in Windows XP should open up a view of that folder's contents.
Go to the directory by "CD" command say "CD MyDoc" and press enter.. Now run "dir" command to see the contents of the directory..

Contents pane?Do you mean the Collection Folder? Click on View in the top menu to select Collections. Otherwise, imported media will appear in the Imported Media pane (if you haven't placed it in a collection folder).
To see the contents of a folder: If you are looking at folders in a Finder window select the column view. If a folder is on. For example. the Desktop right click on it. Drag a folder to the right hand end of the Dock and then click on it.
