Aqueous solution of sodium chloride conducts electricity because it is a soluble ionic compound, which when dissolved in water, it dissociates into Na + and Cl - ions. only aqueous solutions have a pH. Also, pure nitrogen is neither acidic or basic and so will not affect the pH of a solution.
No: Any aqueous solution with a pH value below 7 at standard temperature and pressure is acidic, the opposite of basic.
