In response to the other persons answer: * Africa is a continent, but yes, the countries in Africa are all LEDCs.
I would say yes - Montserrat was a British colony, so some people may argue that it was an MEDC, however there are also many African countries that were British colonies, and they would never be considered an MEDC. Therefore, due to the fact that many people have poorly paying jobs, and the island's economy suffered greatly due to the volcano, I think it is an LEDC.
An MEDC is a "more economically developed country." Characteristics of a country labelled this include successful trade agreements, wealth, purchase of raw materials to use in production, lower death rates, and generally lower birth rates.
When companies outsource to developing nations, their communities benefit. They will eventually see their economy pick up because of the influx of money.

Argentina is considered a middle-income country, which places it between the categories of more economically developed countries (MEDCs) and less economically developed countries (LEDCs). It has a relatively high level of development compared to many other countries but still faces economic challenges.
Florida is considered a MEDC (More Economically Developed Country) as it is a state within the United States, which is a high-income country with a well-developed economy, infrastructure, and services.
