Once Germany invaded Poland, everyone started choosing sides and it eventually led to WWII. Russia allianced with Germany to invade Poland ( There was no fighting in Poland what so ever ) but after that invasion, Russia joined the Allies to fight against Germany. It was only Europe at first fighting in WWII ( +RUSSIA ) but after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the Americans joined.
