Sudan is predominantly a Muslim country and as such celebrates all Muslim Holy days such as the Eid holidays, The Prophet's Birthday, the celebrations and fasting of Ramadan. there are lots of holidays, depending on each country and/or religion. you will need to check with a country to see that. usually holidays are given due to religious celebrations. for example Muslims will get a week off to celebrate Eid-ul-fitr, if they are in a Muslim country. hindus will get holidays to probably observe fasts. christians get holidays for Christmas and Easter. so you'll need to take all of that into consideratio. then there are secular holidays such as Independence and so on. in my country, we celebrate emancipation and Indian arrival day. so there are lots of holidays which are celebrated. right now my country has a month of holidays. others may have more or less.
