When it comes to cellular technology, the term "unlocked" has two different meanings. The first being someone entered your password to access the funcuality of your phone. You will not be able to tell if someone unlocked your phone. The second defination of unlocked refers to the ability for the cellular device to be functional with any service provider. To determine if your cellular device is unlocked depends on wether your cellular device is a CDMA or GSM device. If it is a GSM device you can tell if it is unlocked by inserting a different service provider's sim card. If the phone is still functional then it is unlocked. If your phone is a CDMA device then you will have to either call your bring it to your service provider and they will be able to access your device profile to determine if it is unlocked or not.
