Generaly the tube goes towards the front of the engine.
As you face the engine, you need to turn the nut in a counter-clockwise direction.
Same direction as the engine.
you need to install idler gear or remove idler gear depend on the engine to counter the direction also you need to change the engine oil pump direction and you need to change the cam shaft directions
Only for mounting
The fuel pump arrow points away from the fuel tank and points toward the engine.
I own a 1986 Toyota pick up with a 4 cyl. 22R engine, and the fuel pump is located at the top left hand corner of the engine block ( looking at the engine from the front of the truck ).
It is connected to the front of the crankshaft, in the area behind the timing belt. There is an oil pick-up in the oil pan at the bottom of the engine, and a tube connects the pick up to the oil pump.
standing in the front of the engine, It will be on the left front bottom SIDE of the engine.
9 to 13 LBS. no less and no more.
Its too hot. Check the water pump or thermostat.
there is no fuel filter, part of pick-up in fuel pump
If it is fuel injected-pump is located in fuel tank and must be removed If not is located in lower front section of engine
