What is the direction of a body when moving in circular path?

A body moving in a circular path has no fixed direction. Its direction keeps on changing with every step of its motion.

How is 'work' defined in physics?

'Work' as defined in physics is the displacement of a material object from its original position by the application of a force in the direction of that force. In other words, in order for work to be performed in the strict physical sense, the body must move through space in the direction of the force. No work is performed if the object does not move in a particular direction through space. Movement through space in a definite direction therefore is necessary in the performance of work in the strict physical sense. While the body is moving through space, energy is being transferred. So a secondary definition of 'work' is the transfer of energy through the motion of a body. This idea parallels the ordinary definition of the word 'work' in the sense of 'activity for a purpose that requires physical or mental exertion'. Not all activity is work even in the general sense. The activity must have a goal or purpose, that is a 'direction' in order for it to be considered 'work'. Play therefore cannot be considered 'work' since it has no definite direction or purpose other than that of amusement or recreation. Nevertheless, play is an activity since there is some movement of the body or some transfer of energy. And sleep cannot be considered 'work' since there is no movement of the body at all although the body continues to work internally through the repair and rejuvenation of cells and tissues and also through the circulation of blood by the contraction and relaxation of the heart. So 'work' therefore is defined as the transfer of energy by the motion or activity of a body toward a particular direction, purpose, or goal.

Can a body moving with certain velocity in the direction of east have aeleration in the direction of west explain how?

Yes a body moving with some velocity in the direction of east have acceleration in the west because when the body will stop or exerts brakes so the body will move a little back and acceleration will be produced in the opposite direction which is west.

Is friction negative on a free body diagram?

It depends on how the axes are defined. If the for motion in one dimension, if the positive direction is defined direction of motion, then yes, because friction opposes motion. If the motion is in two or three directions, then the force of friction is a vector and, strictly speaking, neither positive not negative. The sign (if any) of any force is arbitrary, as long as all forces in the diagram use the same frame of reference.

What happens to the velocity of a moving body if you change the direction in which the body is moving?

It depends how you changed the direction of the body. If the body is hit by an external force in the direction of motion, the velocity should increase. If the body is hit by an external force in the opposite direction of motion, velocity will decrease.

What is defined work?

if the force applied on a body makes a body move that is there is a displacement of the point of application of force in the direction of force then work is said to be done by the body

Can a speed of a body be negative?

The 'speed' of a body cannot be negative. But if you are stating the 'velocity' then it can be negative. Negative velocity means it is going opposite to the direction that you decided to call the positive direction.
