Judas Iscariot was an Apostle, and the Romans knew where to find Jesus because of Judas.
Peter was one of the earliest of Jesus' disciples, being led to Jesus by Andrew, a disciple of John the Baptizer. (Joh 1:35-42)
When Peter and the other disciples let down their nets as Jesus directed, they caught a huge number of fish, causing their nets to break. This event showed the disciples the power and authority of Jesus and led Peter to recognize Jesus as Lord, prompting him to leave everything and follow Jesus.

The Qur'an mention some disciples of Jesus, but not specifically says it is 12. But The Qur'an says clearly there are 12 tribes/nations whom led by the Prophet Moses.

When Jesus told the disciples to go back out on the sea and let down their nets, they initially hesitated because they had fished all night without catching anything. However, following His instruction, they cast their nets again and miraculously caught a large number of fish, so many that their nets began to break. This event not only demonstrated Jesus' miraculous power but also led to the disciples' recognition of His authority and their decision to follow Him as His disciples.

Actually there were 11 people (Jesus' disciples) who saw Jesus ascend into heaven.Matt.28:16 says the 11 disciples went to the mountain that Jesus hadappointed for them to come to.Mark 16:14 says Jesus sat at a table with the 11 disciples and after He spokewith them in v.19 He was received up into heaven and sat down at theright hand of God.Luke 24:33 tells of the 11 disciples who were gathered together and v.36states that Jesus (suddenly) stood in midst of them and in v. 50 it saysJesus led them out, blessed them and He was parted from them andcarried up into heaven.Acts 1:4 states that Jesus was assembled together with the disciples speakingwith them and in v.9 it says, ......"Now when He had spoken these things,while they watched, He was taken up and a cloud received Him out oftheir sight".
