God sent the Holy Spirit to comfort the followers of Jesus.
It is commonly referred to the 'Upper Room' in Jerusalem - see below:Matthew 21:1-3New International Version (NIV)Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King21 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away."
In Matthew 15:22-28, the story is told of a Canaanite woman who asked Jesus for help for her suffering daughter. Jesus' disciples urged Jesus to send her away, but she persisted. Jesus told his disciples that He was sent for the people of Israel, but nevertheless, because of the woman's faith, He healed the woman's daughter.
The comforter is the Holy Spirit which is very important in a Christians life.
According to Matt 21:1-7, he told them that "Just as you enter," he said, "you will see a donkey tied there, with its colt beside it. Untie them and bring them here. If anyone asks you what you are doing, just say, 'The Master needs them,' and there will be no trouble." This was done to fulfill the ancient prophecy, "Tell Jerusalem her King is coming to her, riding humbly on a donkey's colt!" The two disciples did as Jesus said, and brought the animals to him and threw their garments over the colt for him to ride on. Here is the ancient prophecy: "Rejoice greatly, O my people! Shout with joy! For look--your King is coming! He is the Righteous One, the Victor! Yet he is lowly, riding on a donkey's colt! Zech 9:9
