As long as the media is an actual file indexed somewhere on your computer, you can import it into Windows Movie Maker. However, please remember, that Windows Movie Maker needs to be able to locate the original source files used in a project until it is Published/Finished in a Standard Video format.If you are speaking about a 'link' to the movie or video in a document... No you can't import it. Again, you have to have the original source file on your computer to be able to import it into the program.
