soft drinks, coffee, Hot Chocolate, alcohol, milk
I would say the least safisfying drink after a workout would be brussel sprout juice, oh make that warm brussel sprout juice.
i would say it is not good to drink water during a cardio workout but if you just drink like 3 sips i say it would be ok but dont drink like half or more of the bottle because the water would probably come up to your throat which would not allow you to breath
Gluconeogenesis
At least double what the same drink would cost anywhere else.
Chocolate milk is an excellent recovery drink for any type of endurance workout.
You can get the best nutrition including protein if you drink whole milk or low fat milk before workout. You would want whey protein before you workout. What brand of protein is up to you but Optimum Nutrition is one of the most popular. I would stay away from the super cheap protein from target and walmart because it usually is lower quality.
No, it is not recommended to drink sweat as a way to replenish electrolytes after a workout. It is more effective and safer to consume electrolyte-rich beverages or foods specifically designed for replenishing electrolytes.
Can you? yes, i mean it's physically possible but why would pre-workout be called "pre" workout if your taking it after your work out ? It would just be foolish to do that because the pre workout wouldn't do anything for you. you would just be getting energized after your already done working out there would be no point. take your pre workout supplement 10 minutes before you work out and take your post workout protein/supplement within thirty minutes after your workout. I recommend taking your post workout A.S.A.P. after your workout.
Before and After...is the answer I have gotten from the majority of the trainers I have asked. I know that everyone has different opinions, but it makes sense to me. You want the creatine boost before your workout to give you an edge. And, after your workout, while your muscles are starved. I have always taken 1/2 the daily dose before, and the other 1/2 immediately after, and seen great results.
In order to find out more about the workout from the movie 300 I would suggest purchasing DVDs that instruct you on the workout, or perhaps a book on the workout.
You can, but you would be wasting your money. If the directions say to sip it while you work out, that's exactly what you should do. Creatine is best absorbed gradually, and as your body's need for it increases (during the workout), absorption will get better. Most capsule forms of Creatine simulate this by having a slower release; you take it before your workout, and the capsule gradually releases it into your system. If you take a lot before the workout, most of it will be wasted because your body won't have a need for it, so the excess will get flushed. If you drink a lot after your workout, it will be too late to have any effect on your workout. Creatine is a workout supplement, not a protein shake or meal choice.
The drink Big Train Chai can be purchased from the manufacturer, Big Train. The least expensive place to purchase this product, however, would be Amazon.
