the empty cardboard box because pressure decreases with increase in area of surface. pressure = force / area. thus pressure is indirectly proportional to area...
The air pressure keeps the water from falling out of the glass. The atmospheric pressure i.e. the air pressure outside the glass is greater than the water pressure inside the glass so it holds the coaster onto the glass.
As soon as the card drops a little there is 1) a volume expansion that counteracts the displacement and 2) a thin water rim is formed between the edge of the cup and the card. If the weight of the card is low, a few grams , the surface tension of water is sufficient to prevent air from penetrating the cup. Therefore card is kept in place by the capillary force. With a card of somewhat greater weight the width of the capillary rim increases (but there is additional volume expansion to counteract the weight of the heavier card). Since the capillary force decreases with increasing width of the open edge, the weight range of cards is limited. Eventually it can no longer prevent air from rushing in. But with cards with low weights, thus a thin edge and as a consequence a high capillary force it works fine.
Atmospheric pressure is the surrounding pressure around us. We live in the atmosphere and treat the atmospheric pressure as the base pressure. A pressure gauge would read 0 at atmospheric pressure. When we define the pressure in scientific way of absolute pressure, we need to add up an atmospheric pressure to the measured pressure.
If you mean "guage pressure," it is the pressure of a fluid minus the atmospheric pressure.
The main difference of static pressure and dynamic pressure is:- static pressure is exerted by fluid at rest but dynamic pressure is pressure exerted by fluid in motion.
Hey sexy it will get flatened and when the pressure is taken off it will pop back up. Bye babes

The air pressure in the air under the cardboard is pushing up, thus keeping the cardboard and water in the glass.
A flat cardboard box, lots of cardboard reinforcement around the edges to hopefully stop the rims from being hit. Several foam blocks in between the spokes to help it hold it's shape and not take any pressure onto the spokes. Foam over the axles to stop them piercing through the cardboard.
You can recycle alkaline batteries but they cannot be put in recycling bins. This is because, normal recycling breaks down the item through a combination of pressure and heat before reforming new materials, but batteries have acid in them which is poisonous. Look into the local regulations on how to recycle batteries, usually each county will have a small recycling area for electronic waste.
Oxygen was discovered for the first time by a SwedishChemist, Carl Wilhelm Scheele, in 1772.
It is on or at the receiver dryer or shimy can looking thing at the rear of the engine compartment. You need gauges and refrigerant recycling machines to properly service the a/c
Use a dremel rotary tool with a grinding wheel to grind the corners off the edges of a large, thick sized flat head screw driver, making the edges are rounded. Use this hand made tool in combination with straight edge, clamped on top of your cardboard, to your work surface. Run your crease tool, with pressure, along the straightedge, making several passes, while gradually increasing pressure. Another option, (which would likely work for small boxes and a large square), is to clamp a straight edge to your cardboard (and hardware stores sell straight edges with built in clamps). Then, take a thick sided metal square, and stand it upright, along your clamped straight edge. Use a rubber mallet and pound along the edge of the metal square to create a crease. (However, the metal square should be larger than the piece of cardboard, otherwise, the corners of the square will likely pierce into the cardboard).
If compressor is running 80-100% of time without recycling, it may still be low on freon. If freon pressure is good, may be expansion valve.
what happens when a plant wilts is the vacuole filled with water because other places in the plant need the water.Osmotic pressure in a plant is actually called tugor pressure you have a bag full of water ,supporting a wet cardboard box the more water you release the less stable the cardboard box will become
