Xenomorph, a term used by the characters in James Cameron's 1986 movie "Aliens", was created to describe the alien creature in the film. Since the creature, or alien, had no specific name, it seemed to be the best way to "name" the alien from the film.
The Xenomorph is from the Alien franchise fandom. It is a fictional extraterrestrial species and the primary antagonist of the series, known for its iconic appearance and deadly predatory nature.
No you don't have to but that is what the majority of the fandom is. So I'm not really sure what you would do in the fandom if you dont like anthros. Perhaps just fursuit in a quad suit.
The xenomorph does not have eyes, instead it has a sixth sense that allows it to "see" what is around it although many people believe the creatures eyes are under its dome, this is in fact wrong, Ridley Scott did not give the xenomorph eyes because he believed the creature would be more frightening if it did not have eyes but could still "see". Hope this helped:)

While for most this can mean that you love dogs, it can also relate to furries or the furry fandom. Hi Mr. Colbert
When I told my parents I was a furry, My dad disliked the fact that I was part if the fandom because he saw the other side, as in Mature content. What I do in the Fandom is Fursuiting, and drawing furries. All General stuff. First of all, Go up to her and ask her to talk, If she says sure, Simply you have to tell her you are a furry and explain to her what a furry is so she can understand that it isn't a bad thing.

There isn't a specific fandom name for The Fault in Our Stars book, but John Green (the author of the well aclaimed novel) has a small following of people called Nerdfighters. He explains about this on tumblr and in his vlogs
