Mark 5:22, 23 - And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet and begged Him earnestly, saying, "My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live." [NKJV] (A parallel account is found in Luke chapter 8.)
His name was Jairus. See Mark 5 starting with verse 22, and Luke 8 beginning at verse 41.
How can I help you say goodbye by Patty Loveless
A father should only have a parental love for their daughter and to have a physical or emotional romantic love for their daughter is incest and against the law. It is wise for a father to seek professional help before this type of love causes a disaster that can never be rectified between father and daughter. Meanwhile, see less of your daughter if possible and if she is around then keep yourself busy while you are also receiving professional help.
Father; God Son: gods son Jesus Christ holy ghost; the ghost of jesus christ..remember they will always be there to help you. :)
The Good Samaritan stopped to help the wounded man.
In Matthew 15:22-28, the story is told of a Canaanite woman who asked Jesus for help for her suffering daughter. Jesus' disciples urged Jesus to send her away, but she persisted. Jesus told his disciples that He was sent for the people of Israel, but nevertheless, because of the woman's faith, He healed the woman's daughter.
Why we could not call any maan holy father is because we have a Father and his name is GOD/JESUS. If we call any man our holy father than what did they do for us to help us in anyway? GOD/JESUS died for us on the cross to save us from our sins, so that is why we call God/JESUS our Holy Father.
to help prepare you for whats to come, and to encourage you to change the things that you can.
ex stepdaughter? that probably doesn't help any
Jesus is our great mediator. He stands between us and the Father in Heaven. Jesus tells us in the New Testament that nobody goes to the Father but though Him. That's why at the end of most prayers you will hear these words 'We ask these things in Jesus' name'. That's how we are told to pray, all things through Jesus. So it is through the Son that we know of the Father.
He didn't help and just watched as his father was beaten. And, he never responded to his fathers dying calls (his father kept saying 'Eliezer' and Eliezer never responded out of fear of being beaten).
no, lord Ullin's daughter was not right as she ran with her lover leaving her father alone . but this poem gives a tragic ending as when Ullin's daughter was drowning in the sea, she put her hand towards her father as it was natural that whenever a child is in some problem then the parents help them
because, she needs to live with a man to understnad them. i lived with my father when i was smaller, and it borke my mother's heart. I couldn't help it though, a girl needs her father!
