Quite staged. Wilder tried to get it done on a New York street, but noises from voyeuristic crowds, along with Monroe flubbing her lines (a problem she was infamous for doing) made this impossible. Wilder then did the scene in a Hollywood set. Again, Monroe kept flubbing her lines so often that it took dozens of tries to get the scene.
There is no evidence besides the infamous rumor of the Pok*mon episode kissing under the mistletoe. It showed a scene of Ash and May kissing, but they have no proof or link. So the answer is no.
