Mine is a 1990 Bobcat 843 which is disel and very old looking, my oil filter model number is # 6659329 and Diesel filter model number is #3885315B. I buy them both at Auto Zone or O'Rileys for $30
manufacturers were adding particulate filters as standard components of the diesel engine. The filters were designed to act as barriers, preventing the diesel emissions from being released into the air.
Change oil and filters regularly
You can convert a petrol engine into a diesel engine by changing the fuel injectors. The fuel filters will also need to be changed.
dirty fuel filters for one !!
I believe most of them have a 43 hp Kubota diesel engine in them. However, I'm not sure if they all do.
dirty fuel, clogged filters
Only one fuel filter
one top center of engine
If it is a diesel, No. There is a single filter on the engine itself.
One. Located near the back of the engine on the drivers side.
Salt will not dissolve in diesel fuel. However the salt may very well clogged fuel filters.
Yes as it does not have the lubrication of diesel. Also may damage fuel filter. Don't drive. Get quotes to clean out tank, filters etc but if you want to risk it and tank is not full you can fill with diesel and then run engine to use petrol/diesel mix. Get tank emptied by mechanic for safety. Change filters soon afterwards .
