Using a flat iron does everyday does not necessarily damage your hair. I flat iron my short curly hair every dayBUT i use 1.) a protecting spray against heat, & 2.) A moderate heating setting 270 F. It is very important that you use a spray that protects your hair ESPECIALLY when you flat iron you hair EVERYDAY!! I use Nexxus Sleek Memory Spray. Another good product is Matrix Sleek.look Flat Iron spray. The second most important thing to consider is how hot the flat iron is when used. Thin hair- straight hair should use between 200-240, curly & thick: 250-280 and very coarse unruly hair : 280-330. Never use more heat than need. And never, EVER get into the 400's. Most people don't realise how damaging it is to your hair. You may also want to consider getting your hair relaxed (like me).

If the doll is a Cosmetology training doll/mannequin head, it is perfectly fine to curl the hair with an iron. If it is a toy doll, the iron will most likely melt the hair.
There are, but you want to be wary of them. This is because your hair is the most fragile when it is soaking wet, and the very nature of placing a flat iron against it is damaging in and of itself. Hair that is wet is more prone to burning. Your better bet is to just let your hair air dry or blow dry it almost 90 percent before going near it with a flat iron. Yo can find flow dryer with combs or round brushes build into them that can speed up the drying process, but again, the closer you let your wet hair get to a hot appliance the more likely it is that you will damage your hair.
Sectioning hair helps make it easier to color or style. Most people use hair clips to section their hair when they use a flat iron so it's easier to get all of their straightened.
Expensive is not always better. It is the quality you should look out for. Trusted brands are always the ones to go for and brands that your salon uses. You can always ask friends and colleagues what their preferences are and then decide for yourself. Usually cheap drugstore flat irons have coated plates instead of solid ones, meaning that the ceramic coating will peel off and eventually damage your hair. Most expensive flat irons have good quality plates, complete features and give professional results. But beware, not all expensive models do this.
It would generally be more bushy than usual, and you would most likely have to flat iron it if you are not a fan of bushy hair, and of course it depends on how short, also.
not necessarily, if your hair is very thick you might want to use one with big plates but it depends on what the highest temperature your flat iron goes to most small plated irons get the job done better
I have used most of them including chi. The wet 2 straight by remington is by far the best. I have 3 daughters with different hair types and I also use it. We dont use it on wet hair most of the time but it works great either way.
The most appealing features of the T3 Flat Iron would likely be its ability to heat up almost instantly, even heating, and maintaining consistent temperatures. The T3 Flat Iron produces better results than most typical flat irons, giving shinier, smoother, and longer-lasting hold than previously possible.
