Wii is the better system. It has way more of a game selection. It has also sold about two times more units world wide than PS3 has. Wii's most selling game sold about 16.7 million. PS3 most selling game is only about 4.7 million. Plus Wii has more for it's cost, PS3 has too little for its cost. And overall, Wii won the 2009 console wars.

I have both. Spec. wise PS3 is better than the Wii. Better graphics, better online play etc. But in my personal opinion Wii's are better for having friends over or parties as it is more interactive. If I had to choose between them though, I would go for PS3.
