Pick an answer:
a) For both glasses, the water is about the same temperature, say just above 32F. Then the glass without ice has the most water by mass.
b) The glass with only water is quite hot, say just below boiling. The glass with water and ice cubes is just about at 32F and the volume of ice is very small (less than 2%). The the glass with water and ice could have more water by mass.
c) By definition, water refers to H2O in its solid form. By definition, ice refers to H2O in its solid form. So, "by definition", the half full glass with ice will always have less water by volume.
if your melting wax in a glass container be sure you do so at 125 degrees. get a deep metal pan, fill half full with water, heat the water, put your wax in your glass container and put the container in the pan,WATCH IT CLOSELY.

Water expands when it freezes, so the ice will be higher.
half a litre of water is 500ml
Gases that are relatively insoluble in water are collected by water displacement. The gas pushes the water down and out of the water-filled gas-collecting vessel. The gas-collecting vessel (generally a flask or test tube) is first filled with water, covered with a glass plate or plastic wrap (no air bubbles must enter the vessel, and then inverted into a deep pan or tray half-filled with water. The glass plate or plastic wrap is removed, and the tubing from the gas generator is inserted into the mouth of the gas-collecting vessel.
Half full. If you look at it as just a glass with water in it then that's what it is. If you put meaning into it then the glass will always be completely full. How full do you want your glass?
Yeah. Am always choosing half full glass of water. Because am always looks forward.
The temperature will be the same.
The glass is actually full. Full of half air and half water. As for the water content, technically, there is no difference, except as it pertains to the process of filling or emptying, i.e. if it was filled and you drank some, it is half-empty; if it was empty and being filled, it is half-full.
By Haurn Mo. It depends on your perception. If the glass was already empty and you starting filling it up but stoped halfway, the glass is half full, If you started drink it but stoped halfway, the glass is half empty.
First thing that will happen is the water will rise depending on the amount of ice cubes put in. As the water gets colder, the ice cubes will start to melt turning into water.
Imagine a glass with water to the middle of it(half). You can say "The glass it's half full" or " The glass is half empty". Generally, if you say the 1st you are a optimist, the 2nd you are pessimist. So if you are a glass half full kind of person means you see situations in a optimist point of view.
if the glass has been drunk from full to half then it is half empty and if u only filled the glass half way wouldn't it b half full!
observation
An empty glass, since half a glass drunk from half a glass will leave it empty. ;)

If both of them consist of water and ice at the same time then the temperature for both of them is zero Celsius (from the heating curve of water)
