The term would suggest a broader definition of prejudice against all people of Semitic origins (which would include most Arabs as well) but in fact it only came into use as a description of "Jew-hatred" around the time of the second world war and thus its use is properly restricted to just those hostile to, prejudiced against, or discriminating against Jews.
