uhhh... WHAT?
I am going to assume you mean BIOS flashing. Go to your computer manufacturer's website, support, and driver downloads, and you can find BIOS updates there.
system bios
Seethruzal, the infamous software that allows cellphones to see through clothes has been updated to a 2.0 version
You can probably download the bios for the motherboard, video card, etc. that has been damaged. Usually the downloaded file will be able to install the bios itself.
It is a chip onboard a device that allows for firmware to be updated or settings to be changed like a computer motherboard's BIOS or a router to allow it to fix bugs/errors, add hardware compatability and features, etc.
it depends on what kind of computer hardware gets updated either its: (Dell,Mac,etc).
By taking it to get its software updated..
Updated software that fixes a known bug is often called a patch.
These form part of the BIOS software which is stored either on a non-volatile ROM chip on the motherboard, or in more modern computers, on a flash memory chip so that new information can be updated as required.
By going to their website and re-downloading the software
There are a couple reasons for this. You either do not have the most updated software for your iPod Touch, or you have the 3.0 or 3.1 software and the app was not updated to work with that software.
By "updated" he probably means newer software that corrects software bugs in the older software. The update is actually repairing the software. There's probably nothing wrong with the hardware. There are 2 kinds of updates - software update usually corrects software bugs. A map update is just getting more current maps in the unit to accomodate for new roads, changed roads, changed points of interest (Restaurants, gas stations, etc).
