LG Plasma TV provides better and brighter picture quality even in darkness due to the fact that there is no back light needed. Also the contrast ratio of Plasma is 50 times greater than that of LED giving night scenes a perfect view.
LED TV's emit much better quality picture
It used to be that plasma TVs offered the better picture and were much more expensive. They still are much more expensive, but unless you are an absolute fanatic, an LED screen offers great picture quality at a fraction of the price.
Plasma screen TVs differ from LCD or LED TVs. Plasma TVs use electrically charged ionized gas to display the picture. The advantages of a plasma TV are that they provide a clearer and better picture than LCD or LED TVs.
Although it still depends on its technical specification, in the vast majority of cases an LED TV will be better. LED usually has a sharper image as each pixel is being changed individually by a different diode meaning that the picture also changes quicker and smoother. It is also thinner and lighter physically.
LED Televisions are a step up from the old versions of tvs. They offer higher quality and better picture.
The benefits are the lighting components in the back of the television, which causes better picture quality.
LED TV is a television with a flat display that uses LED backlighting which reduces power consumption, better picture quality, better display and many more advanced features
it really depends who made it (Because a Sony will be better than a cheap generic Brand) but LCD's emit a higher quality picture and are generally more reliable than plasmas - why they are not made as much anymore. The only Problem is that LCD's are much more fragile.
LCD TV picture quality today is a big improvement over the past, with option like LED backlighting for even greater depth and contrast. Price is the main advantage of LCD over plasma, offering a comparable picture at a mere fraction of the cost. Plasma is still expensive so you should also figure in the cost of a warranty, while with prices starting in the low hundreds, an LCD TV is an affordable purchase. LCD's are generally cheaper, but plasmas have better picture quality. Plasmas used to wear out and the colors got messed up after a couple years, but in newer ones that is no longer the case, so I would suggest plasma.
It's not that it's better, it somewhat different. If you are confused about 3D then that's a different story. LED is a type of image producing lighting behind the TV screen. This lighting produces brighter colors, produces less heat, and makes for a very clear and precise picture. You can have 3D on a LCD, LED, or Plasma TV that doesn't matter. But if you're really asking if 3D is better on LED than on a LCD or Plasma then that is personal choice. Many believe that even though LED has a better picture quality, Plasma beats it in 3D. However, as with all new electronics, things just get better and better and those who believed that Plasma takes 3D will probably notice a BIG change in Samsung's new 75" LED 3D TV that will be out this year. So to answer your question if that is really your question, then I would say yes because 3D LED is the way of the future and bigger tv's are the way to veiw them. Pretty soon almost every movie out there is going to be 3d so do you want to be the one watching them or wishing you could watch them? You decide.
There is no projector that has the same picture quality like that a 60 inch Samsung led TV.
LED stands for light emitting diode. It is a kind of tv and monitor and they are usually known for being better than plasma and projection. The color is more vivid and the picture is clear.
