Which hospitals in your area have an Emergency Room?
It depends on where your area is, if it has an emergency room or not. Most hospitals though should have an emergency room though. Here in this area though, Williamson County hospital has one as well as Vanderbilt hospital.
Can a hospital refuse a dialysis patient treatment who has not had dialysis in two weeks and just moved to the area?
If you present as an Emergency admission, American hospitals must treat you as specified under EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act). If you do NOT present as an emrgency admit, you may or may not get treated. Your chances of entering as an emergency case increase if you are brought into an Emergency Room and/or come in via ambulance.
Er (emergency) nurses are also known as, "Flight Nurses." They work with the people that are under serious conditions. They also may transfer these patients from a helicopter or an airplane to the hospitals and also from hospital to hospital from accidents and such. They do these activities in an area equipped for higher levels of care.
