Yes, Apple's operating systems on Macs can send out Wifi to Iphones, Ipods, PS3's etc
well i dont know about any other ipod but the ipod touch has tons of problems.. such as the wifi....on alot of ipods the wifi icon will end up grayed out and apple wont fix it and the screen... the screen will often become unresponsive in certain spots, im unsure if that problkem is fixable or not
To improve digital communication you can get devices which have built in wifi eg. Samsung galaxy. Htc wildfire cha cha.blackberry. Ect. I reccommend dont use iphones.or ipods. Ipods have no build in connectivity and stuff is a rip off.
Since iPods do not have a cellular network, you will need a Wi-Fi connection in order to send a text.
Medicacom and Comcast provide ISP service to your area. You can purchase a wireless router to send that connection throughout your home and to your laptops, iPods, etc.
Yes. There are several applications on iPod Touch that allow you to text, and make phone calls for that matter. Many of them are free but you can only text and call from them if you have a WiFi source.
Yes. You can go to the Apple APP Store on any computer and on your iPhone and on an iPad if it is capable of connecting to an available cellular data network. However, iPods and iPads that are not cellular models will not be able to access the Apple APP Store without a WiFi connection.
Not very much, from what i know it only becomes a danger if you have wifi or bluetooth on for extended periods, (which you can change in the settings) Otherwise it's practically fine - enjoy!
