Bees and flies are insects that help cabbage.

Specifically, bee flies (Bombyliidae family) and bees assist in cross-pollinating cabbage. Honey bees help when cabbage is grown during warmer weather or in warmer locations. Other bees - bumblebees (Bombus spp), cuckoo bees (Apidaefamily), leaf-cutting bees (Megachilidae family), mining bees (Andrena spp) - tend to be more productive during cooler weather or in cooler locations.
