MTV is on lots of different channels provided by various networks, and broadcast from lots of different satellites situated over many different countries. A local program guide might show the MTV channels available for your system in your area. Another way to find MTV channels is the scan all the channels you can receive on your dish network, and then to make a note of the satellite and channel numbers that your particular satellite system has allocated to the MTV programs. On some systems you can change the channel numbers individually so that all MTV channels appear first, at the top of the list of all the channels receivable from that satellite.
