No one answer to your question. I shoot light .243 bullets for groundhogs, heavier bullets for deer. All other things being equal, the lighter bullet can be driven faster, but the heavier bullet will retain energy at long range better.
A heavy brick is better unless you're Super Mario then you probably prefer a light one.
i believe this depends on the type of game you are hunting. for fast moving birds i would use faster loads for slower moving game such as turkeys heavy loads are the key due to better knock down power. this is just my opinion though That depends entirely on what the game is. If it is a heavy animal like a deer or larger then you need the penetration that only a heavy bullet will provide. A light, fast bullet will disintegrate near the surface and not penetrate to the vitals. If you are shooting a small varmit like a prarie dog, a fast, light bullet is adequate since you usually need to shoot from a considerable distance and need a flat shooting bullet, but you don't need any signifant penetraation to kill the animal.
Newton's Law- for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. When the bullet is pushed forward out of the barrel, then the gun is pushed back by an equal amount. That is recoil, or "kick". The amount is based on the weight and speed of the bullet, and the weight of the gun. All things being equal, a light bullet kicks less than a heavy bullet, and a heavy gun kicks less than a lighweight gun.
Recoil is the equal and opposite of the force driving the bullet. A heavier gun is a greater mass to be moved by that recoil.
SILVER BULLET
it is impossible to fire a bullet a the speed of light
Light. Heavy armor might get in the way and weigh you down. Light is much more attractive of course ;). Heavy armor does offer a lot of benefits though.
Dad installed a light in the basement so he could see better when he works on his projects. Bricks are heavy and feathers are light.
Equal and opposite reaction. With a heavier firearm, recoil is trying to overcome the greater inertia of a heavier mass.
light
non heavy. light.
For a self propelled car a light wood is better. For a gravity propelled car a heavy wood is better.
