It depends if you want something quite then I prefer rabbit but if you want something which you can play with then I prefer a puppy as rabbit would usually run away from you but the dogs will stay with you i had a bunny he died and i still have a german shepherd

Pet stores get their puppies from puppy mills. Buying them keeps the pet stores in business, which keeps the cruelty of puppy mills in business. It is a vicious circle. You would be better off adopting from a shelter or pet rescue society.
