They are both different game styles, Battlefield 3 is a first-person shooter and Gears of War 3 is a third-person shooter. If you like the Call of duty series, then Battlefield will be the best for you. If you like mass effect etc, Gears is best for you. Overall, my personal opinion on the best game is Battlefield 3.

I'm going to assume you mean Bad Company 2. Then I'll say that they are very different. BC2 (Bad Company 2) is a first-person shooter while inFamous is...a third person shooter I would say, but you are firing lightning rather than bullets. BC2 is rated "M" by the ESRB; iF is rated "T". inFamous has about 20 hour game, but no multiplayer. (In my opinion, adding that that would ruin the game). BC2 is only 8 hours or so, but it has multiplayer. The multiplayer is just as good/better than Modern Warfare 2, but has less modes. Personally, I like inFamous better.
