The biggest difference is that plants tend to be photosynthetic/autotrophic (Indian pipe plants are a recently evolved exception, no trace of chlorophyll) while all animals are heterotrophic. Other plant species are both heterotrophic and photosynthetic such as parasitic and carnivorous plants. This key difference is due to their evolutionary descent- both evolved from types of protists. Plants evolved from algae and animals evolved from protozoa.
Members of the plant kingdom have cell walls while animals don't.
Most plants have chlorophyll and are autotrophs unlike animals.
Plants do not move whereas most animals move (Exceptions- Members of Porifera, like sponges).

There are two characteristics. One is that plants are autotrophs. They have chlorophyll which enables them to use inorganic substances for the production of food. However, animals are heterotrophs. No animal can make its own food.
The second one is that plant cells have cell walls whereas animal cells don't.
There several other characteristics like locomotion but there some exceptions in animals like sponges (belonging to the phylum Porifera) for example cannot move in spite of being an animal.
Use of chlorophyll for solar-energy transformation. :)
Being motile. motile meaning being able to move around. animals can do that, obviously, because they have legs. But plants, on the other hand, are rooted to the ground.
They have a cell wall in their cells. They also have a large vacuole, and chloroplasts .
A plant cell's cell structure is slightly different- they have a cell wall along with a cell membrane and chloroplasts (photosynthesis)
Photosynthesis differentiates plants and animals .
The process of photosynthesis is one characteristic of the plant kingdom that distinguishes it from members of the animal kingdom.
All animals in the animal kingdom have a nucleus. There is one present in every cell. Without it the animal would not be able to survive.
Kingdom Plantae.
animals, by far, because there is so many phylums in the animal kingdom and in the animal kingdom has over 1 million types of different species
Animals ingest their food while fungi grow into it.

Cell wall/cell membrane
Members of the plant kingdom usually stand still, while animals tend to move about.

non
Animal cells have a cell membrane; plant cells have both a cell membrane and a cell wall. Thus bacteria are plants.
Most of the members of plant kingdom have cell wall and perform photosynthesis whereas members of animal kingdom do not have cell wall and also they do not perform photosynthesis and one more thing animals do not make thier own food means they are heterotrophs and plants make thier awn food so they are autotrophs.
NO they are members of the animal kingdom faulse!
There is only one animal kingdom - Animalia. Therefore, all animals belong to that kingdom.
Ermines are members of the animal kingdom.
