Have had the same problems with IE, too. Switched to Firefox - faster and doesn't balk at sites that IE refuses to open. Firefox actually has gobs more safety features than IE, so it could be the better browser of the two.

Not bad, better than IE but remember -that and Firefox are both Mozilla. In fact Firefox tends to get more tweaks from developers since more used so I would consider that one.

Had this problem off and on for years. Finally switched to Mozilla Firefox for my browser. All prior problems of IE gone - Firefox has twice the security that IE has, and less than one-tenth of 1% the problems of IE. I'll never ever return to IE.
