I have never played The Sims 3 world, but I would only recommend it if it's an expansion pack. They aren't really that fun on the D.S., Wii, or anything else besides the PC. It is an opinion, but I really would recommend the sims 3. You will need the sims 3 first if it's an expansion pack anyways.
